this could bring the building aspect to another level and gives archers a nice job

I like it as well. But I'm sure that bridge gate is a big problem for now to implement.
We could have regular stone wall as substitute to brick wall as well.

Terracing land would be pretty neat! Albeit it might raise some issues with people turning the the Hearthlands into an absolute hellscape.

we currently can dig soil into huge giant pyramid. How many times have you encountered such thing in this world?
Making those structures you are talking about could require no lesser stamina than building pyramids

Stone wall would be nice, but there's no point of differentiation right now.
