I think if you took the opposite approach--ground-carved meat gives base Q while meathooks give a meat Q bonus (maybe based on hook quality?)--it'd be fine for new players and veterans alike.

Or, most simply, it could just be used store a carcass without worrying about it disappearing in a decay hit. That alone would be worth a cellar full of meathooks.

Bump. butcher speed could increase 25-30% on meat hook and stop corpse quality degradation

i mean its cool, but what purpose would it serve besides getting corpses off the ground? would it speed up butchering or allow characters to pass through corpses?


that is certainly what they would be used for. youd wander around the map, find a homestead thats been raided, and like 30 corpses just slung across meat hooks all over the place.
