I also think the ban on charter stones for criminals is bullshit. I don't alt unless absolutely necessary (I think the only thing I used an alt for in w9 was checking the stock at my trading post), so committing crimes means would mean my main would be locked out of using charter stones (reducing possibilities for trade, among other things) for a long time. Meanwhile, people with crime alts, or trading alts, or alts for whatever they're using the charter stones for, are all almost entirely unaffected.

This is a clear case of the game directly punishing the player for what is otherwise presented as a valid gameplay decision.
