I'm fine with live ones not being able to be inspected, but not dead ones. If you took the time to kill it you should be able to inspect it. If jorbtar really wants to get picky, add a hunter or butchering skill for 6k that allows it

Strange world. Even experienced hunters so blind that they can't determine which animal is sick...

Maybe you can determine the q of the animal if your Perc/Survival is high than the animals q, but if it's below it it gives an approximation.

I dont think its realistic that you know what quality bones and meat one animal has.
I think its good that you can not inspect them.
Some surprising things to life on hearthlands.

You'd think "inspecting" something might mean you're looking at it in detail in order to discern any information you can regarding the thing you are inspecting.

So while inspecting a live animal would be understandably more difficult, it's perfectly reasonable that one would inspect an animal's corpse and be able to obtain information regarding the overall usefulness of that animal.

Or maybe I'm just an such idiot.

But we arent able to inspect crops either, though it should be quite easy to determine quality of crop by examining it.
