foxes have sharp teeth though. I think you are fooling urself.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

at least ant acid heals by yarrow (or by itself really fast)

But totes old combat system with 40ua, 1 defence (jump) and armor... all you need for mammoths

I'd settle for self-healable wounds, but what really pisses me off that animals do 1/1 damage and inflict 1 deep cut wounds at that, every one of which needs to be healed with gauze :< At least if you don't have access to roots like me

use Waybroad or stinging poultice.

When you have pages of 1-2 damage deep cuts it is irritating.

Particularly in my case, for some reason I didn't find any waybroads for a long time despite having excess per*exp.

Deep cuts are easy, the real bitch is punch sore. But anyway, I stil think getting wounds when hunting is fine. It's a throttle on how much you can hunt, but you can get more than enough animals for skin, meat and bones. However, you can't get anywhere near enough for grinding cards, and IMO this should be fixed by making card drops more common or something. Also, there's a big issue with hunting being pretty much impossible without a horse or exploits.

This is probably the worst part of hunting, I wish that there was some mechanic that at least condensed them into only a few deep cuts, so you could treat them easier.
