Reduce Cost of Kindle

Yes someone already went over all the ways there are to light a fire but the point of kindle is it's meant to be a convenience magic. 500 is too costly because of the fact there are several other options for fire lighting. Maybe you don't use it but I absolutely hate firebrands so if the fire pits go out I will juse kindle to relight even at 500 but I still think the cost is way too high.

There could be torches coming out of my ass and I still might use kindle at least once a day.

lifes hard when ur bad i guess i dont think ive ever use any of the hearth magic none of them even seem a little worth it it takes like 5 seconds to start a fire from 2 sticks like come on dude life gets a lot harder than that

You're the bad one if you don't use any of these and like I said in my earlier point, polish the silver still only costs 250 exp while kindle costs 500.

rawhide is trash and the rest r gotten from mining skills unsurprisingly im not 1 of my villages miners so i didnt even no about them my point still stands for kindle and rawhide which r ultra shit

Might be useless just for only you I guess, and I don't even bother wasting 500xp for it.
I have access to tons of matchsticks, though still use this sometimes when I'm lazy....and I'm loving it lol

dude that was the whole argument that took place in this thread lol, we've already come to these conclusions:

1. Yes, it's useful when you're feeling lazy.

2. Yes, it's too expensive.

3. More and more people will just obtain matchsticks and flint & steel over time thus making this magic truly become useless.

I agree with you that it's a nice thing to have when you're feeling lazy but it's TOO EXPENSIVE until at least Polish the Silver matches it in cost. Whether that means they need to reduce kindle or raise polish the silver I don't care.

imo, kindle is early game when you're low on energy/stamina. just light one fire a day for when you're cooking, then fill your fireplace up and get firebrands to light ovens and other stuff.
sure i go through 1-5 firebrands that first fire but i go a few days without a fire, i just batch cook stuff as a hermit. and if you're in a group, you could take turns using kindle each day

kindle shouldn't be too cheap as then it takes some of the survival/struggle element away from the game imo. this ain't some 'flip a switch' fireplace ya pansy
