Crafter is something I create my hermitage and later as name implies, craft stuff.



When I don't play alone it is usually only one or two. Like <put_any_role_here> + hunter.

Well, what I imagined does not make you play only one char (which isn't perfect for me still), but rather prevents from large-scale alting. Encouraging playing one char and getting in a groups for community gain.

Right now there are two kind of players: the ones who play the game and the ones who compete with the game mechanics to overcome them. While second group does not have a problem with the first one, first one can suffer and suffers from the second: botters, alters, abusers etc.
Ideally, there should be one group or groups with different goals that do not make other groups game experience worse.

I encourage not to stop on thinking how we can minimize something, that can be considered unfair play and suggesting solutions to devs.

Of course I totally agree with you. But i have no good ideas about that...some of yours are not that bad.

ur suggested changes r also just a straight nerf to people who play together which is basically what alting simulates there isnt a way ur going to be able to reduce alting without reducing the effectiveness of playing with a group and if u think one person should be just as strong as a group of people then god help u

People having 1-2 alts, do not count for the same cathegory. Mass alters, however, does.


Main reason why I have 1-2 alts always, is that, there's no more frustrating thing when You lose your main character because of server crash, which to me, happened a lot before W9 and even W9.

In W10 I was actually pretty close to my "main" being killed by boar right after server crash.

I would more aim into people who have X more accounts than 1, but alas, it is not forbidden (which I know, scared a few players I know away from haven).

This. I`m in for any solution that decreases incentive or punishes for using significant amount of alts/slaves/bots, even if it somewhat harms all players.

We can`t have nice things, and while alt is a nice thing for casual player, it is tool of abuse for others.

Make HnH pay 2 play.
20 usd / month / acccount.
1 char per account.
Problem solved!
Only rich people will use alts, and rich people dont play HnH. They have better things to do.

Git gud, get alts, that's how the game is. Tbh the devs themselves made it even more important to have alts this world. With masonry, lore and will added to the game they clearly went in that direction. You can larp all you want with 1 main, but don't even try to compete with anyone without alts...

Meh, main problem is not TRYING to compete, main problem is random killers lurking the land and killing in sight. It`s not my choice to compete, I want merely to survive :)

Problem is not that first group can not compete with second group (first group mostly don`t even try to compete and just play their own little game), problem is - second group completely removes the first one from the servers (mostly by constant killing of them) and in few months population decreases by 50-60%, and even more, if we count players and not their characters (alts/bots).

What Jorb/Loftar tried to achieve with Kingdoms was to make first group useful for second group in some way (exp gain), so it will be impractical to murder/raid hermits and larpers.

Also the fact that Lore intersects with vast variety of skills (mostly for curio crafting) makes it so you can either include it in EVERY specialized alt, or just take it on your main char/crafter alt and craft all curio you like. At least i assume it was incentive of adding skill that is required in conjunction with majority of other skills.
