The main factor for me is when ass hats sit at my walls with rage geared alts.
I think we kill 3 geared rage alts a day.
But each time we have to have a few numbers of mains to out number the alts. Never know when the alts become mains.
But it's tedious.

Sure, but I don't think Coles' idea would matter for the people who use rage alts. It's not like they won't have a few sausages and curios to make the alt viable.

Stats being requirement / LP -> It won't simply work as big factions have often multiple alts and it is not a problem to create another one quickly with big enough stats. Especially that it is easly made by creating an alt that will be asleep for X time, just wearing curios and it is no secret that there are even alt-villages just to simply "claim" something and those claims require "activity" so...

I was thinking personally about aging mechanic, which could let You determine if certain character "just spwaned" is "fresh" or "old character". Like characters 1-2 week would be considered just spawns, fresh 3-6 weeks (or reincarnation) and old characters being count in months. Idea might be worth further thinking but alas, still, someone could create X accounts with 3 alts each that would just be sleeping agents for later use in bigger event. But it would stop "main alts" stuff on bigger scale I think.


And that way, smaller ones doesn't get hit, right?

i dont like the idea -_-

is taking me ages to get power and psyche i only have a lot of dexterety thanks to chikens and another animals i can cath running

i was exploring when i find a leaf from a huge tree that gives nice stats but acording to this would be quite imposible to my farmer wear something that requieres that much from another stats

i can see how this benefit only big players or comunity players but lonely players like me that cannot even hunt will be hard as hell

and since i finally got the rabits thing i can finally get skins to get nice materials and i will like give good things to new players i found but with something like this they will never be able wear something like rabbit shoes

god i will love now that with rabbit shoes i could cath even more easy bunnys that could help me a lot of trouble and now that i know i like give rabbits shoes any new players i found and tell them a few tips i will love know before and if i can help them glidimg would be even great

i am mining now and getting ore HARDLY but god i could sell my low level metal axe to any player that is close for anything like a curio but think if even the metal axe will now be able to those who had a lot of str?

i dont know but i dont like the idea

So the problem isn't alts but the fact that you cant tell they are alts?
I don't like restrictions I think characters could have some kind of indication of how strong they are.
Different physiques, some kind of combat ranking on top of their head or my favorite different color auras:

You could even make it need perc*exploration to be able to see how strong someone is. And then stealth*int to hide your power level.

Now that is a great idea

maybe instead of powerr level something that can mesaure lp or something like 3 stage like young anyone that not as a lot of lp or exp and adult anyone that has lived a lot or have used a lot of lp

from that way maybe people wont kill people that looks like they are noob

something like time of person playing or something like

I think milestones in total experience earned would correlate better with aging mechanics. At least it indicates some sort of activity, which time or LP don't.

And, I don't know. Alts have made so much of the game so crappy for so long, I wonder if we'll ever see a reasonable anti-alt mechanic being implemented.
