Adding more of the same doesn't really sound like something that'd keep people interested. Pushing numbers is not a real endgame, and never will be.

Look at EVE. It's pure grinding and is still popular. You must make crafting and the economy actually work.

In eve there is waaay more stuff to do if you're bored.
You can also do some precaution measures not to permadie ( used to be 5 yrs ago at least)
You can also change your location to a part of the world with different rules... which changes the gameplay style between ppl. (hisec\lowsec\nullsec\WH) yet they are all part of the same world.
end of the day - eve is huge, and number of dev's in incomparable with h&h

salem already has this and there is 0 reasons why it would be a bad thing in haven, we were suggesting salem-darkness like zones in world 8 already

Eve has good endgame because of its community.
Not because of its mechanics.

Personally I think the major thing about Eve is the market...everything revolves around that.
HnH trade need some boost, like I suggested some time ago....tools, weapons wear and that stuff to me is a possible boost...
