No it doesn't it's still slow as fuck.

I had like 600 health or so and got cleaved once (not even knocked out, it was before the update) and it took like 3 weeks to heal with like half of the alliance giving me all the ancient roots they had

it's still slow as fuck and it should NOT be nerfed

And a good Q root can heal 20-30 points, but you're right about that. Q100+ stichpatches would make things notably less painful. I forgot the healing impact because for everything else in the medical system you can ignore healing item quality pretty often.

Honestly, I want wounds re-worked to a system that includes % penalties to stats instead of flat, and fixed healing time for medical treatments that ignores wound size. This would compliment KO>hearthfire in my mind, make wounds something notable other than just HHP penalties. But also so that a character with 1000hp doesn't have to spend months healing a wretched gore.

I used a Q100 stitchpatch during the times I had the wretched gore (happened 2 times) and it was fucking useless and unnoticable, ancient roots did all the work, honestly if there were no ancient roots a guy who gets KO'd may as well kill themselves

That's kind of what I mean. I don't think the balance of the current system is working, and ancient root is a needed stopgap to make this healing system reasonable.

That sounds like a rework is needed imo.

The only reason they decay is so they can't be stockpiled for instant healing so they should implement a medicine that can be crafted from ancient root which does not decay. It would heal over time like a stitch patch but could heal any wound and would be significantly faster.
