You find fated curio then you wont be able to find any other fated curios for some time. Or at least its not as likely.
So fate is a resource a character has. Look at it like luck that can run out.

Also fate sucks it adds nothing to the game especially this late in the world.

tbh the fate curios are shit except for pearls which you dont even study and glimmers, bluebells and edels need to be buffed hard and bluebells/glimmers need to be way more common!! im pretty sure edels/boletes are even fated curios though i walk around a mountain and find edels quite often and boletes are everywhere ive seen like 3 glimmers this whole world and maybe 10 bluebells hehe

anyways i think curios like that which force you to leave your walls for long periods of time should be pretty rewarding!!

Probably when you pick it but our overlords refuse to tell us how the game mechanics work which also brought us such wonderful systems as the old fishing system.

Every time I pick up a bluebell I shudder in fear, it speaks to me:
"Q10 despite being in the middle of a Q50 swamp"
"Less LP/H than a Dragonfly"
"You'd be better off with an ant"

The only problem I really see here is that, speculative at least, that bloated bolletes can take up the same chance of you getting pearls or glimmermoss or chiming bluebell, if what is being said is true.

If so, that is dumb, they should all have their own fate chance, otherwise seeing a bollete on the minimap might as well just be a

I agree that they are good, but I don't think that they're good enough to be fated. I can find 3 or 4 flotsams in the same time it would take me to find 1 bloated bolete. Also, I kind of like the fate system but it's super frustrating not understanding it. Maybe quests that increase your chances of finding fated things for a short time?

Fate system was made because ppl were forage botting. Same as satation and hunger was made because ppl were food botting.
All these systems have less impact on the actual botters and end up punish casual and noobs the hardest.

Harcores and botters take some, but not nearly enough for these systems to be effective, punishment.
So overall fate as well as current hunger and satations systems need a rework (or quite frankly jut removal from the game).

(Well hunger can stay but not in it's current form since its irrelevant with ery1 eating at 300 % anyways :p)
