I definitely wouldn't mind some alternate skin tones, but we'd need to go over the character model a bit and think about what variance we want, and how it should be implemented, in that case.

Based upon the location, asian character would be rarer than latin or black characters. The Moors were black and were common merc units iirc. Vikings were also not uncommon to be Mercs. so i dont see it outside the realm of possibility to see a boat load of Vikings coming back with a number of Moorish crewmembers.

Maybe a white/black slider with shades of brown in between? Plus clay colors to match game lore.
