I am running 2 hutches, I have like 6 or so females per hutch, 1 male. I get a few adults every week (takes a week for rabbits to grow up). I am getting between 2-6 rabbits a week with the two hutches. Yes chickens with a close set up produce faster, but meh.

Hmmm, i see your point. I guess the time required to grow babys to rabbits are "okay"(week), but the overall quality increase is too low, they should have a greater mean value ( like from [-5,+15] ). Still, no reasons to have rabbits, i guess they worth nothing ( too long to have good quality leather from them, rabbit food still meh)

If you want hides, pigs are superior to rabbits because they give 4 instead of 1 slots of hide, the reproduction time is the same, and multiple piglets in a litter are fairly common.

I'd go the opposite way.
Mor rabbits produce wit slower q raise.
The most thing I dislike is how many food the consume to return me so little FEPs.
Chickens give like 1 egg per day + 4 other thigs
While rabbits give that 4 other things an more rarely due to slow reproduction

They're really disappointing, i guess their only value if for hide or bones, but if you want bones you can go straight with chickens, and if you want hide.... well, q200 hide is not that much and just now it's possible to have such huge hide with rabbits ( now i mean = 6 months world -> q400 swill). Which is not that bad if the world would be assured to last at least 2 years, but it probably will not.

A fair point, if also you add on top of that what the rabbits consume. More rabbits produced means also more chances to get higher ql ones, will give more products and overall will fix the disappointment i believe, also the chicken curio is fairly easy to get (and at high ql may be good/decent) while the rabbit one is incredibly hard to get (thou ALL the rabbits have 4 feets...)

Chickens have the feather trinket curio (with is a good gilding and curio);
They have the wishbone, which is really okay in the early-mid game;
Chickens have a really small chance to put the golden egg, which is an awesome curio;

vs

Chance to have a rabbit foot?

Kind of have to agree here. Will look at it.
