I'd like this. Longer crop growth time would require better food management and timing. I'll push for carrots taking 10 days minimum, and scaling other crops based off that sort of increase. Harvesting less often for more keeps the core to farming the same, while decreasing the workload.
Not sure if many of you do much gardening/farming, but i'll let you know nothing in haven grows at a speed far beyond their real life counterparts. Carrots take less than 3 days to grow, so like 10 haven days max. Real carrots take 3 months to mature. Just for the sake of having things grow at a more normal speed i'd like this change. Sure, its a game, but farming is tedium incarnate irl and in game, so why make us harvest and replant more than necessary. Farming is one of the biggest factors to me burning out on the game.
Certainly any change like this should wait till a reset, but other than that I find it tough to understand why some oppose this. Other than they think its going to make the game too carebear...or they really like farming
