Satiations: I think it would be best to just FIFO track the last 1k events (FEP related items consumed) and reduce the effect of the events the more often they are in that list. So no more drinks and shit to keep buffs at 125%, just eat a varied diet in case you want maximum effect of the items you consume. In case there needs to be a time based reduction of FEP penalties (as the hunger bar ticks down these days) then it could simply time-tick remove items from this list.
Hunger bar: Get rid of the multiplyer to FEP, turn it into a multiplyer for energy (lowest tier 100%) if need to have that bar at all. Or keep it for FEP but reduce the multiplyer by one order of magnitude and remove the ability to directly eat salt. Rename it to Appetite in any case.
Symbel, Feasting: Needs to be massively nerfed. Needs to wear items on all active tables to remove the non eating CHA alt exploit.
Charisma in general needs to be nerfed to near extinction.
Yes, might be a bit overshooting with the nerf stuff. But it's easier to cut it down to much at a reset and then to carefully increase the positive effects, as nerfing gains later in a running world is quite unfair and unpopular.
Best would be to limit the effective maximum numbers that can be reached by a character to limit the maximum effect it can have on the world (so the numbers there also stay within manageable limits).
