Will consider that.

Please no.

Possibly make stomped dirt not spread into plowed ones so you could have dirt paths around your fields, but natural biomes should continue to grow.
Claims acting as zero entropy storages are unfun.

I think stone paving around crops is horrible, perhaps if stone would have some kind of transition would be better but still not good to me ... any solution would be much appreciated, salt could be used for this purpose ... but considering how it works right now, not sure.

Legacy: fields decayed. They had to be plowed constantly. It was annoying how much they had to be plowed... like might as well replow the entire field per harvest as it could be half or more of the tiles. Carrots were the exception in that you might only have a couple tiles, under 10%, to replow per planting.

w8 on: field tiles don't decay at all. In fact, they spread if conditions were met. Nonsensical at the least. At least you don't have to replow every planting.

My thoughts: it's a game. A bit of simulation of reality is nice, but if I want more than a bit of that, I'll set up a farming simulator (they do exist) or go actually farm (which I do during those months in my backyard). The lack of reverting fields on claims would be a great addition if it's practical.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

After spending months on extensive observations on this one, I can confirm that (plowed) fields only spread to dirt and planted grasses prior to the patch.
