its all the bad argumentation that i dont like. if someone had an argument like, "no this is terrible because it can be exploited to do such and such" i'd be glad to see that flaw pointed out.

and im more depressed than pissed right now.

Well, it's okay if it would be like a shit curio, like wish bone. Otherwise it could be exploited by repeatedly planting low quality trees.

did you read the first post? the idea is that it would be a damn good curio with a long study time, and a godawful chance of receiving one. like 1%.

so yeah, people might spam their high quality seeds that they're not using to raise the quality of their orchards, but it shouldnt be a big deal if you only get one stick per 100 trees planted.

be damn sure to tell me if thats exploitable as is.

1:100 is not very rare, considering that sometimes you need to mine +1k tiles to find a single troll. So the curio should be kind of crappy so it wouldn't be exploited too much, just saying.

I read the post, and 1% is not "low". 1:10000 would be a decent ratio for a good curio, but 1:100? I plant 20 trees everyday.

so you plant 20 trees every day. do you immediately chop em down? most people who plant trees want the high quality wood they provide, rather than gambling on a curio.

and we could drop the ratio for bushes. say 1/500.

It's a nice story and i wish I would have seen that branch, but on the wiki page for b12 you can find this quote: " Jorb has stated that this is the first, and last time that items will be named after communities that join the game."
There are statues in the world commemorating events of worlds passed. a statue of a stick would make more sense but that just sounds boring

they plants 20 trees every day, not just one day and then waits for them to grow
implying they would also mature 20 at a time, eventually.

its not a community but a glitch that happened.

and so what if 20 mature at a time? you couldnt get a stick of truth from a mature tree.

reread your original post, my bad

and my point is that this glitch only effected a 'community' (you) and why would anyone else care? if it was a famous bug maybe it could be a statue, but otherwise you're adding something based on someone's story (which isn't even just naming an item that they add anyway) that no one else can relate to.

I would, in any event, not mind a rare drop branch.
