damn good question.

also the people near that expansion stand a chance to get fucked over as some of their familiar foraging and hunting grounds, fishing spots clay nodes will be further away, perhaps unreasonably far away to use anymore, and their roads would get wrecked.

honestly I'd just be happy if they brought back boundless worlds, where you can travel outwards from the starting map as far as you please.
