I love you more every day. :D

Changing gender is just stupid, but yeah i definitely think we need to be able to change basic appearance.

Hair growth could be cool, but i'd be fine with just changing you hair/beard style.
Total misplay.

We've already been discussing hair growth and the ability to cut the hair to some style shorter than the current for quite some time. The main reason we haven't done it already (other than having other priorities, at least) is because hair growth feels like a kind of decay, which makes it feel problematic. Perhaps it could be an option to "cash out" a step of hair growth after some time has passed since the last one. But muh realism, though.

I really enjoy realism, but a cash-out would also be nice for active characters. Maybe after dexterity gets to a certain point? You're just so good at moving your hands that you can cut your hair in your sleep!

That way, it's a goal to be reached for newbies and an easy way to change hair for oldies.

Selling cosmetics should be priority in monetizing free2play game but paywalling a feature like hair growth and cutting, it doesn't sound too nice.

Not sure if he meant actual money for this one, seeing as it's in quotations. I think he meant like... you can stop the process IE "cash out" of the hair growth with proper experience to do so. :D

Store option: Barber's kit.
Use kit -> open customization menu from character creation and apply new options to user.

Bam, money units.

Eh, sounds a bit boring, honestly.
I feel like there could be so much done with it, and that making it an item in the shop would be sort of a bland way to apply it.

Plus, I feel that would leave a lot of people out of something that could be very fun - and this is coming from someone who paid for verification.
It just doesn't feel right to have to pay for post-character changes. That's better reserved on the special privileges, hats, and maybe even some cool clothes.

If it gets implemented in such a way that it's something to be bought, there would be no point to having sweet ass mechanics like growth and styling.

Gonna bring this back up for a moment, because I thought of a good solution for people that would rather keep their hair at a certain point without the maintenance.

Instead of paying for the ability to do post-creation changes, we could pay to opt-out of the monthly upkeep of our hair/beard. It would be something that I feel long-term players wouldn't mind doing!

id rather not have this turn into a game where you have to buy every little thing as DLC.
Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.

Neither do figuratively and literally.
