I could perhaps agree that there could be some incentive to not use the same ones all the time, to create some natural rotation, but I'm skeptical of convoluting it too much and implementing stuff no one will actually like.

Maybe instead of debuffing current curiosities lp gain, you would get increasing lp gain from studying other curiosities that you have not studied in a while. This way it would make sense to study variety of things.

I really like this idea. A variety bonus would help curios that seem useless. People who want to spam the best curios would still be getting the basic amount but those who vary their curio diet would be rewarded for it.

Devs seriously...
You have 3 options
1. Do nothing, people never study 90% of the curios because they are bad
2. Balance curios, takes lot of time and effort, results not guaranteed, previous balancing attempts that you've made on curios have not been very promising at least...
3. Implement satiation-like system, which requires people to study variety of different curios. Studying different things instead of the same things that you always study should give a boost.

Stop, your ideas are usually really bad dude. Most of them are ironic, too.

No one wants more convolution and annoying bullshit to this game. The simple solution is to make shit things better, but a lot of those are also nab curios. Doesn't matter, really.

Ideally the game should be just a big, blue button which results in text "you won" when pressed.

See the problem with these types of suggestions is they always find a way to penalize the current meta, instead of, I don't know, going the opposite way and making it rewarding to study something else instead of chainsmoking mirkwoods 24/7.

Positive reinforcement, ever heard of it?
W3 to W6 - Blockland. Special mentions: New Avalon, Tarn of Hotdog, Red October.
W7 - Elvenia, til we all got lazy.
W8 - Cult of R'lyeh, til the deeps called us back.
W9 - Tartarus, til death/wizards came for the land itself.
W10 - ???, ruined and forgotten.

Changing current meta is pretty much what implementing new ideas is for.
I fully support changing the current curio system, whether to make it less rewarding for spamming the same, or more rewarding for variety of curios.

Also i don't get the "don't complicate stuff" comments . . expanding sections of the game to give them unique (at least more unique than they already are) characteristics, in my opinion, is always welcomed, even if they boost up the challenge.
Don't make Haven a grindfest

Does not matter.
Having buff from studying curios that you don't study often is equal to having penalties for studying same curios many times. Just said in different words
