I support stat caps if there is an endgame.
"PvP is endgame" But in 330 capped world I didn't see that much more pvp than now.
I think we need the game to provide more reasons to fight each other first.

Which world would that be?

Asking as the only stat caps that I am aware of have been removed after quite a short time (without explanation about the 'why' for the removal), so we didn't have had a full world with them to see how that would have played out.

W9 statcap was removed because population was really low, bellow 100, so jorb said might aswell let veterans grind stats again... i didn't even reach the cap, it was my first world

haven pvp crowd hates a balanced world where everyone has a chance... either that or the pvp is so bad people don't want to fight at all unless they feel like a titan

-1 I dont like either the idea of reach an end point, plus i dont like to get stronger by discovering some skills, and yeah in prob 6 months or less you will see an army of combat alts.
Good idea!

+1, combat should be about outplaying the opposition, not outgrinding them (more like outbotting them).

Seems weird, maybe it'd work. Would make equipment boosts alot more valuable, at the least.

I guess that there are some disadvantages and advantages of removing combat stats.
But it would be an interesting experiment indeed!

Can agree to that logic but You only have a statcap for 2 stats, compared to all stat cap is superior idea.
On top of that, warriors could proof themselfs in terms of battle art and fast thinking / leadership instead of outstating players and killing them faster than foxes, in some cases.

+1
And the idea of raising combat stats through credos is really interesting too.
