Reward hint is best solution i guess, cos when you do a lot of useless things and then risk your life looking for some tree that you have to "meet"(ofc its in worlds ass), and then come back to questgiver and get nothing, you get a little offended(yes you wanna chop all dat trees and burn them in hellfire ). We definitely have to know what are we gonna get.

So I think the easiest "solution" for this would be to, as mentioned in this thread, give hints as to what the quest reward is, or just plainly show what the reward is going to be. Technically, although there's still RNG at work, this at least lets the player know what to expect so they can just abandon the quest and not have to make do with a "useless" reward.

Not entirely sure this is a good argument. Not sure the idea of quest is to complete them in less than a minute.
