make it so that when shot, the wound is one type of wound, and then you can pull the arrow out and create another type of wound.

Thats a shit fucking plate dude. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ej3qjUzUzQg
Like i said no bow nor arrow could FULLY penetrate plate armor it was usually shot in groups hoping itll hit cavalry/ in between armor. Plus on top of that most warriors wore chainmail under the plate and maybe even some sturdy hardened leather.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.

I’m sure that arrow head was steel as well...
You make the argument that the plate is shit but the arrow in your video could be just shitty make as well.

You beat me to it!

Plate wasn't even a strong damage prevention to slashing sword attacks, and hammers, maces, and military picks were a direct response to heavy plate armors. The key to being armored was knowing how to fight in it and forcing the opponent into making glancing blows that would deflect off the armor instead of splitting it open like a tin can at dinner time.

Its a traditional made arrow with a 150 lbs war bow from almost point blank and it didnt even faze the armor. these are fairs that have very accurate clothings and armor from that time. also swords werent used to slice open armor thats some fuckin nonsense  .

you know you would have more credibility if you didnt CONTRADICT THE VIDEO YOU YOURSELF POSTED. at the beginning they claimed it was 120 pounds, then later said 130.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

its a fucking video game and archery as it stands is useless in any form of pvp. For all haven has decent-ish aspects of realism in its mechanics to some point, it also bends the rules all over the fucking place. I don't see why debating what would happen IRL should be the solid deciding factor of a mechanic in a game.

I'm all for the wounds, just not bleeding out.

Will consider, but wary of making bows too good.

integrate bows in to the same combat system as melee red blue yellow green openings etc. only then will it work otherwise it'll either be op or garbage.

If you get shoot and is wearing armour, the arrow should get "stuck" in the armour and the next attacks that hit the hearthling would do extra damage to the armour(meaning that they will break sooner)
