For most quests i would agree, but the local resource events is just horrific to get stuck with. And the fact that the vast majority of people will eventually give up and abandon those should be clear sign that they need changing or addressing. It shouldn't be meta to just instantly abandon a quest. even if it were changed to how coles suggested above would make it better than it currently is

Mystic is supposed to be hard, though. Whether it's "worth" it is subjective -- I don't mind that it's not for everyone. Credos shouldn't necessarily be.

Credo being hard is not is not a bad thing when done right. For what I've understood, people are complaining about being at the mercy of RNG.

Credos should not contains rewards buffing stats or skills. It is stupid and not unique. Look at last pearl credo: +10 CON. Really? Even being full noob u can get this in several hours by eating pumpkin/pupaes/lingonberries/apples. Stop adding this shit for rewards. Make credos great again.

There's nothing wrong with it being hard, like "killing a troll" or "taming a wild boar" or "commune with this tree on the other side of the world".

But getting given a quest which the core requirement is "Wait up to 2 or 3 weeks depending on when you last got this experience event to get the event again to complete this quest" isn't hard, its just stupid. There is nothing hard about that as a requirement with how easy it is to find the resources, the "hard" bit is not hitting "abandon quest" for 2 or 3 weeks.

Like suggested on the first page, those quests don't even need to be removed to make them better, changing it to see the resource or to have to harvest from one would at least make the quest somewhat manageable. But right now all resource event quests are is "wait for an invisible clock to tick over that you have no way of seeing so you can complete the quest by walking to the same resource every day".

This is exactly it, a quest being hard can still be fun, something resource events just aren't.
