I see you repeating this in like every thread where bots get mentioned, and I'm just wondering who exactly you're trying to fool? The bots that automatically run smelters (From taking ore out of stockpiles, putting into smelters, loading with coal, lighting, unloading, rinse repeat) to bots that automatically log a toon on every 90 minutes to check if a push crop needs rotated are not publicly accessible. There's a reason people have topped q1000 flax and the highest publicly accessible flax is in the 800s. There's a reason there are q2000 hammers/anvils and the highest publicly traded is 1500. And it's not hard work and dedication. There are people with set and forget bots that will craft pies 1000s at a time. Pretending botting isn't a problem, is the problem. Bots are only going to get more and more advanced as coders automate one section of the game at a time. There are pepper villages all over the world that are setup specifically to allow the entire process to be 100% automated with no user interaction. Is doing it by hand more efficient? Sure. But I'm pretty sure when you need to harvest, boil, dry, and grind 8000+ Trellises worth you stop caring about being efficient.

The necessity for those bots have been lessened with the increases to inventory size and wheelbarrows and such. Bigger smelters or such could be introduced to the game to handle it a bit better.

bots that automatically log a toon on every 90 minutes to check if a push crop needs rotated are not publicly accessible.

I've posted suggestions on how to change that, I agree it's retarded.

There are people with set and forget bots that will craft pies 1000s at a time.

Crafting them manually isn't that bad imo. It pretty much just falls into the same category as smelter bots: if we get bigger buildings, we can set and forget more often, ergo less tedium, ergo less usefulness for bots.

Everyone knows trellises are retarded, everyone's posted about them being retarded since they were introduced.

It's not about the activity being difficult or annoying, it's about the scale of which it's done. Sure, I enjoy baking pie from time to time. If I had to make 50 cupboards of them, and I had the choice between sitting on haven for hours on end to do it - or watching a movie while a bot does it for me, I know what I'm going to pick. If you make the task easier, you just increase the bot gap. Instead of spending 5 hours baking pies, you can have a bot spend 5 hours doing it, a different bot babysitting smelters, a different bot harvesting your trough fields, while you work on something else. It's like having more villagers than you actually have.

People bot so much food they need a bot to consume it all :D
Saying "Botters do not exist anymore." means you either don't play, don't talk to people who play or have some agenda that benefits from bots being hidden.

How does it feel to lie so blatantly?
You do a disservice to your suggestions when you try to use such shallow deception to justify them.

Wasn't the thing with sociopaths that they don't actually feel (just emulate the behaviors to manipulate others)?

You don't know that, maybe he has selective amnesia and believes it to be true. When you attack the mentally ill, it makes me question our friendship.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

I agree that seasons could introduce a nice pacing to the game, which I am tempted to agree would benefit it. One of the problems for the long term longevity of the game is that certain monotony that sets in at some point, and seasons could at least alleviate that.

All we need to support infinite stat growth is infinite content. Sounds pretty easy to me
