Why don't the warriors of your village have hermit friends all around their area that report dungeons to them? The people are out there beyond your village walls ready to be your friend.
You will have plenty of LP for your specialized alt if you play your cards right although this change does make it harder to just put top ql curios on your alts which is also the most attractive part of this idea.

one. what the fuck? we dont have a million hermits around us. and they would have no reason to do anything for us.

and two. i wasnt talking about alts. we have farmer MAINS.
Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

Possibly a different approach toward them might change that.

O no, they would have to do something.... DIFFERENT?!

TBH, when I'm just farming, I tend to generate enough XP to keep curios running. It slows my progress some, as I can't just mass consume "the best" curios, and it's not as good as my foraging expeditions, but it's a ton better than my miner characters, who generate almost nothing for XP.

Time to use your social skills and promote hermit habitable areas around your home. More interactions between players is a good thing.
Specializing is already easy mode made even easier by farming gilds and gems.

Seems more like another punishment and solves nothing. I agree with what LadyGoo said tbh.

Bottom line is, if you want something more valuable for hermits to trade then this is definitely not the way to go. Craftable curious are good but even then most people quest if they want insane amount of LP quickly. If this ever gets enacted, then tbh will just withdraw from realm coffer or something for farmer and not change a thing other than be a nuisance for most hermits which is already hard enough for some of them to even begin playing or trying to keep up with faction groups at any rate.
