Are you saying this just to say it, or have you experienced this recently? Statements like this aren't exactly helpful without details--in general or specifically--of what happened. The last six to twelve months I've had little to no interaction with other players, and I've settled in some pretty populated areas... or at least areas that "look" populated. (That is an issue on it's own, but different from this one.) And this is an MMO. The players are expected to police themselves, not have the developers babysit the actions of the community. Have you done anything yourself to change the outcome of the world? I hesitate to do so, but... I'm calling bullshit here, at least until more information is presented, and will hold back putting labels on this thread, but it looks like a very dated complaint. (I realize your account is new, but the argument reminds me of another player in the past who made very similar statements.)
And if you aren't willing to help yourself, I don't see why anyone else should be willing to help you, player or developer.
Along the same lines ive noticed that this game has almost no exposure and that is largely because making a Series on this game is nearly impossible, since players will hunt those people down, making them stop the series or playing all together.
Well, if you were a developer, and half the people trying the game had complaints like yours, would you want to expose it to the world to get some possible long term negative press, or wait until the game became more refined over time?
Another thing to ask is "Do the developers really want the game to get big?" Getting big means hiring more staff and going from development into management. There's big, and then there's big enough. I think most game developers just want to be big enough--pay their bills, feed their family, create the art that they want to create. Instead, too many are forced into taking deals to be bigger and having to deal with all that a publisher requires.

Go play Salem and see how that turns out. Go play EVE. I can think of a few other examples. It don't work. Same assholes just figure out ways around the rules. That's what griefers do. Step up your game and figure out how to counter them. If mechanics don't exist to properly balance the equation, then bring it up, but don't bring up this kind of crap that has been proven time and again by AAA developers to not work
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
