Joke was that in Legacy you could accidentally spend all your wax and leather in loop due to hard leather counting as regular leather as well. You had to be really careful when crafting hard leather. Current solution of being able to soften hard leather if necessary is near-perfect imho.

Back on topic, Thickets probably won't be a priority for devs right now but could make neat addition for eventual w11.
