maybe death could remove 1 level, you'd go from 5/5 to 4/5, though that's is enough to keep me from going outside

The credo suicide thing is that death lowers the amount of levels per credo required by 10, down to 10 total quests. Which is stupid and will be removed in a new world.

Well I did, progressed almost 2 levels up with mystic then it happened again to abandon it again.

It's quite surprising in 2 weeks and a day, I saw "A talking tree" 5 times and conversing boulder only 1 time! (3 times had quest for it, 2 times abadoned (today))

and still despite visiting new/old talking stones, it did not happen

I was thinking that it would make more sense if the number and scale of tasks within the quests increased rather than just the number of quests. I mean the number of quests could go up by 1 instead of two but the number of tasks per quest could also go up.

i think credo suicide needs removed but changed. i liked that bat cave dungeon lowered quests by a level like suicide (i heard that, never completed one as a hermit

i vote for op's suggestion but the options scale more than currently. and the options be a rare chance (like talking quest giver), something repetitive (like plant 120 peas), and a random option like get high. but the quests could be 2-5 options

could lowered quests change? such as a numen power or hearth magic with a scaling high exp cost that goes down over time, maybe the really difficult quests could give the quest reduction or something that could be crafted for it
