Also want to add that any regenerative system should mimic real life examples. In real life new rock is not formed so much by earthquakes and cave ins as by lava flows from volcanic eruptions. I mean if they are looking for more ways to torture miners having a lava flow spill out and burn everything including you might be "fun".
