I guess a "trader credo" would be cool, but it maybe if it came with some services / jobs instead of this buffs?

why a credo

why do things need to be credos

why cant we just have a barber chair or use shears

Because Credos require time spent to earn the ability to do things. You don't like credos, so you won't spend the time to do the thing to let you change haircuts. Thus, this allows those who will invest that time to have a tradable service, which supports the community.

I see abuse potential. Portable seige claims that are instantly active? hmmm

Good catch. So siege equipment would also not be protected on a Trader's Rest.

As long as it protects some type of objects, I'm sure it can be abused in some way. Just use those objects as a wall.
This reminds me of Maze's idea for a nomadic wagon with a house inside that can be locked and cannot be destroyed without siege equipment. I think it would be really cool to have some kind of mechanic or thing that can allow for a nomadic existence. The problem with most of them is that they can always be used to abuse or grief in some way. The combination of being portable and able to protect items/land makes it hard to balance.

You spend time to study curios to learn skills... not sure what the difference is. Maybe skills need a higher cost? 100k for murder in legacy clearly wasn't enough.

But as far as the OP goes, I'd say maybe letting you lock up a wagon and bull so they can't be stolen when you're offline giving that "traveling merchant" feel. More "faster traveling" just means it's another mandatory thing for anyone looking to PvP or get caught in a PvP fight (meaning anyone playing the game). Stop with these suggestions. Faster moving was a poor idea, IMO, when first implemented with credos, it's a poor idea to keep adding to the problem.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Didn't think too much on the topic. But, by now:

A Medic/Doctor to threat other people wounds to heal slightly faster(not instantly healing, just increasing the heal speed by some factor);

Barber Haircutter as I already said.

A postman to instantly delivery letters(no other items) to mailboxes that you already visited;

Supposing that we have a workstation to repair equipment, get a Credo to repair equipment without the workstation with some negative drawback (to repair in battle)

Tattoo artist.

Well stated, and it did set a precedent such as we're seeing here in this suggestion. Honestly I just think the ability to lock wagons should be included in Nomad and call it good.
