So, it is integrated wiki for which you have to spend a lot of lp an time?. Basically, useless.

Enjoyment wrote:Why do we need it?
It is cool. Obviously.

Is it really? Maybe as an abstact idea, but definitely not as this implementation.

Enjoyment wrote:It would make every animal fight useful.

No, it wouldn't.

Enjoyment wrote:It is something to do when you have nothing to do.

No, it isn't. Also, there are tons of better stuff to do at any moment of time.

Enjoyment wrote:As an addition, some info may be uncovered only with specific credos (like only Hunter can reveal combat moves and only Strider can reveal an area of spawn) - so we can get rid of numeral credos bonuses in preference of unique perks.

So instead of marginal stat bonuses one would get useless access to the info he already probably knows?. Awful.

Proposal: forget all the prerequisites and just ask some clientmaker to implement this as an always available tab. This way it will have some appeal and won't waste dev's development time.

I'm not really seeing it, unless it had some kind of practical use. Something like an ability to track animals, a la prospecting, which becomes more accurate/powerful the higher your level of experience with a particular animal.

It's a nice polishing detail, that would be nice to have in far future, but not really now.

it's a really nice feature which allows new players to more easily learn how to hunt animals.

Will this be useful to veterans? Of course not, our autistic minds already have every minutiae of this game memorized, thus any guides are rendered a waste of developer time.

However, if you want this game to be sustainable and succeed and grow, it needs to help new players with useful features like this.

I wish that animals/creatures had a higher "stat" variation. Like one chicken with 8 - 80 hp, bear from 300 - 3000 and so on. So, this way, fighting will not always be "easy" and predictable. It could be a normal distribution.
