I'd just like to revisit this, especially the Typha Flour. Really wanting some of that for early game baked goods.

as someone who grew up in an area where these things were abundant I can confirm that soaking a cat-tail head in fuel does indeed make a great torch. If Dry you can light the tip and they will smolder for hours. Definitely keeps away mosquitos. Also the roots do indeed cook up well in a stew.
