Trespassing scent in general is sort of “meh”. It’s not useful for much aside from knowing someone has been on your land. Rummaging is the superior cousin. In my opinion you shouldn’t be stalked for criminal acts for trespassing at all as people who don’t want you to go somewhere build walls and gates.

Just for the record, the reason behind disabling charterstones when outlawed is not for "punishment", but simply to ensure that you can't teleport in and out of hearthvaults without others being able to follow you.

So you say ihe needs to apply this to roads (and all other forms of teleportation) too?

People get annoyed already at people loading up characters and chartering away when they get raided. I don't see how it's any less annoying that Jorbtar prevent thieves from loading up and chartering...

teleporting is always abused.

remove teleporting all together. :D

world 8 was much more fun without teleporting ;p

Wasn't something there that when siege is on and V-claim drops to 55k, it's disabled from usage?



Also, if we wanna nerf teleport or remove it entirely then make world x2 smaller or have roads include 3 tiles wide paving for it to work.
+ even if someone ports to vault, things like Kiln, smelter and stuff cannot be ported, so You can always bash it down. Unless someone gathered materials good enough to be able to rebuild it, then even porting away wouldn't stop them so...

What loftar described makes it so that only one Hearth Vault needs to be sieged unless perpetrator manages to sneak out with non-teleport methods. If you could use Charter Stones while outlaw you could just jump between several hard-to-raid Vaults, forcing people to siege all of them.

Still wouldn't do shit, trying to watch all the gates of a village during the 16-40 hours of a siege with enough people to kill anyone that tries to escape is a laughable concept. Even if you do see them escaping, the runner needs to have the brain of a nematode to not just speed-buff out of there.
