barters could be containers itself 5*16 slots for give, 5*16 for take. but here will be huge problem with destruction barters and losing stuff if it not secured from vandals and wild animals (+ capacity problem)
i would recommend to rework barters to provide only 1 slot for trade and take/hold only 1 tile, and be container itself (32 for give, 32 for take)
i would like to see "display case" working like barter stand (also its pretty cheap for early game)
