coracles for the swimming and ridges dont even matter if you avoid them. let me give you an example how this could be broken. someone gets ganked 1v3 he starts running goes for sprint buff everyone notices this they all switch to staff because cooldown dont matter shit on running so the speed buff is useless, after buff runs out they all switch back to b12.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.

To be honest, I don’t like the part about speed increase like some people noted. But this would be really cool weapon in general. You could be like a sensai with a staff or something like that. Would be funny to beat someone with a B12 or Sword using a wooden staff.

i'm not proposing a credo. it's literally a staff, that you equip in your hand slots. so that every ganker/fighter that wants to use this for that purpose won't be able to equip a weapon at the same time.

Unless it's a really small buff, everyone would wear it so they could chase people and just kito spam. Unless it's disabled in combat, people are going to use it, and I don't think it'd be in a good way.

Also I think he assumed the nomad's staff would require the nomad's credo.

for functionality, the nomad's staff could either reduce stamina drain while running, or reduce the likelihood of being attacked by animals. i don't think either effect would be too overpowered since the staff would take either one or both hand slots.


If you want to reach the max speed available to you, you should run with a knife in your hand.

There are other balance situations to be considered, true. It's just a change in game design thought I'd like to see them tread.
