Nice idea, I now expect to be able to grow a mushroom house some day.

Me too. In real life ;) They have begun producing a packaging substitute for styrofoam from baked mycelium. Houses when?

based on my experiences, i'd have to say a big buff to psyche would be the most realistic, maybe along with a big hit to dex. you could also have it as a 100% occuring lore event -

Along with only being able to move at crawl speed and being distracted by completely ordinary objects like a tree or shrub, moving over to investigate whether you want to or not every few minutes.
