If a realm is huge but it grew uncontrollably, it should be hard to map it. You should note down the coordinates of the cairns as they're built. If that hasn't been done, hire someone to survey the realm, or parts of it. If HH is as rich as it claims to be, that shouldn't be a problem.
Providing kings the map of their realms will only encourage them to expand to the empty parts of the map.
No, the issue is I can pay someone to do this but the problem is we give multiple people the ability to expand since we often get requests of people asking to join the realm and wanting cairns. Yes I could pay someone but at the rate it updates and changes in size makes this point mute and creating a situation where we can expand. Not to mention I have to rely on some hermit or someone who probably has not really an idea what they are doing to hand draw it? I remember in NK someone did this for NK for only 1/3rd the realm. It took them literally hours and days and even then cairns could be off by 10 tiles and this can create really annoying situations to deal with. On top of that, I am not going to say to some hermit who wants to be covered, "Hey let me just request someone to map the entire realm so I can figure out where to place your cairn(s) to cover you! It may take a week or even a month but don't worry you may be covered!".
