Some areas could have heavy snow accumulation, and you would be walking crawl speed on them. Also kicksled wouldn't work on those areas. But instead, you would have to use snowshoes or skis.
Would add more fun because its not nice that everything is flat snow where you can sprintspeed etc.

I donno, the current working with snow reminds me of late winter where you have high winds polishing hardened snowpack down to where a person my size can effectively run across the top without breaking through... Even without skii's or snowshoes. Deep drifts settling into Valley elevation and against buildings would be cool though, and make sense for deep snow mechanics you're talking about.
