I am no lifing the crap outta this. There's a reason there's timegates on stuff. Leather drying time, Hunger, Satiation, Crops, Metal etc all take time to gather. You can't possibly agree that the rewards from every quest you do is a good reward, as well as saying the "talk to x tree" is fun. The quests need to revamped in challenge and reward. Hell my suggestion makes it so you get a minimum of 1k LP per hard quest. No timegates anywhere man.

+1, not that it will matter anyway.

I don't feel quests are broken. The rewards are reasonable given the amount of effort involved. Issues with the hunger system are more the hunger system itself imo. Yes they can give a lot of LP, but after tracking some pretty lucky questing I'm only getting my daily value from curios by playing 10hrs into questing.

They're in an ok spot from my point of view in early world. I have no issues with an endless timesink that you can do whenever you want.

I was refering to shubla's nerfing of rewards the more quests you do.

The only objection i have is that "Difficulty" is too vague and needs to be explained: There's no way that a Quest that looks like "Catch a Fish, Visit a Cave, Raid an Ant Hill, Go for a Naked Swim, Wave at [Questgiver]" is actually difficult to do. Time consuming due to having so many objectives sure, but each objective by itself is not especially difficult. Objectives in quests that require higher statistics, better equipment, and carry with it the (absolute) risk of death should be more difficult than the pleb objectives.

Toning down the rewards after performing 20+ of them from a single quest giver is a necessary thing, however it would be more interesting to make an escalation of quest difficulty prior to that happening. Quests should feel like a random storyline that leads the player on some kind of adventure; Once all of the "boring" low difficulty objectives are "told" to you, they'll get discarded (possibly forever from that quest giver under specific conditions) in favor of the difficulties of blood and violence... And after a while the quest giver should be trying to get you killed following their quests, instead of asking for friendly meet-and-greet.

"I'm so tired of this guy... Damn he's annoying. Really? You? Again? Ugh. I know, i'll only give him quests to kill bears from now on... And give him only gilding leafs at +1, psyche!"
The Dwarf is making a plaintive gesture. He doesn't really care about anything any more.
