Yes, but they do have their parents credit cards.

this
12-year olds are maybe the best target group for a game that you can have.
There will be lots of 12-year olds who have rich parents who will buy them in-game items for hundreds of euros every year.

ask pubg or fortnite about that. some people love throwing up excuses for floundering in mediocrity while feeling superior (you are one of those people)

Let me correct this for you.

I started playing Fortnite season 1. I'll admit I pretty much suck, though I can typically make top 25, even top 10 going solo, I don't see that as hard as it just takes smart playing, not necessarily a lot of killing. My nephews play it, too, all of whom fit the "12 year old" category, and when we're playing together, I routinely do significantly better than them, so

is something I quite agree with.

I'll have to admit as an older gamer, I get tired of getting stuck in matches with seemingly half the team being not old enough to make an account legally, and parents are either clueless as to who is on the Internet, don't care, or don't know their kids made an account. But I'm not sure which is worse. The kids that don't have a clue about strategy and tactics, or the 20-somethings crying about the kids in their games, should be able to learn such, and are just too clueless to get it.

I'm against this because not everything needs a battle royale mode. it's a lot of development time to make it fun and engaging and keep it balanced. I understand H1Z1 was ruined because of this. We'll see what Daybreak Games has done to Planetside 2 by this summer. I'll say Grinding Gear Games came up with a joke version of one for Path of Exile at April Fool's Day last year that was fun to play, but not sure I could play it much over time if it became a full time "thing".

I know this is trolling but it still makes my temple twitch.

Gj on that one I guess.

I HIGHLY doubt that this is the case. Thats just some stupid meme that doesn't actually happen like ever...

I have a kid. I don't care much what he plays as long as he is OK at school and all homeworks are done. He only plays 1-2 hours before bed-time, anyway. I play way more, sometimes even from the office.
I give my kid a monthly amount of money, as a sort of salary for being in the first 3 of his classroom, as long as he still is in the top 3.
I do not care if he uses his money to buy new games or new items in games. He never buys anything else, anyway.
I do not care if some rational people get frustrated by him. It could only make me laugh if I knew. And maybe I would make an account and play with my kid and do our best to get that person even more frustrated.

My kid is 8 years old.

I know, I'm definitely not the best father in the world.

Really, not all kids steal their parent's credit card.

PS: He would probably play this game as a casual, too. But he does not want to fight foxes or boars or wolves and loose. He's way better than that in World of Warcraft even since he was lvl 20 or so.

As a rule of thumb, everything that makes life easyer and less boring/grinding for players is a great idea. Everything that makes the game harder is crap coming from sadistic tendencies of Jorbtar helped by the few players with the same kind of disorders.

I had more than a few friends that would steal their parent's credit cards... all middle class family people, too. Parents just paid the bill not even paying attention to what was purchased*. I think people can be very smart and aware, but most parents are typically naive until the first time they actually catch their kids doing something wrong.

Have kids. You'll learn the hard way, too.

*If you looked too closely, you might not like the discussion that was going to happen with the spouse, or you think your card is secure, or whatever... people just don't pay attention to their credit charges over the course of a month.

true. suburban americans do have kids though and they happily blow money on the most banal shit. mom feels guilty when she spends $30 on farmville so she buys her kid $30 worth of online gift cards. things like that. this topic is totally derailed though.

I just want a place to enjoy the combat system/PVP outside the context of the rest of the game. the combat system they've made is pretty unique and I can't be alone in wanting to isolate it as its own experience? same combat system but in a setting where I or any other player can jump straight in and play it within 10 minutes. right now the combat system is buried behind hours of other gameplay. i suggest battle royale because it gives a good context. team death match could also be interesting
i guess they never miss huh
