Not necessarily meaningless as it's something you can choose to invest in, but probably not as good as the latter proposition. I was really just going along the lines of the devs just wating to use preexisting assets.

Though now that I think about it having it LP based would make combat alts a lot easier to make.

Devs could introduce combat experience points which you get from killing animals etc. And then you could buy the moves with them.

Just because you are bad at socializing doesn't mean the game should change to match your single player play style.

The current move learning system is ok. Just find someone to make (and sell) you combat instructions.
I am sure there are lots of people who can do that. You can PM me if you can't find

So instead of this system of pure RNG, I would like to propose allowing some sort of purchasing system to allow players to buy moves they need. Players could either buy moves with LP, or after each combat would be awarded with some sort of "combat points" weighed on the animal fought which would be used to purchase moves. Essentially, progress will still be parrallel to that of the current system, but players will be able to not waste time with all these punches and unusable moves.

I don't think it needs a change.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Right click a parchment over the combat move.
