i think i'm behind un-fucking symbel and altering hunger more-so than i am behind making satiations super trivial. i do think a lot of foods shouldnt chunk out satiations as hard as they do though.

wigglejams is right granger that's just a genuinely terrible idea

enough mechanics in this game already punish the player for even playing it in an unfulfilling, challengeless manner

I think a catch up to your dead char mechanic is a much safer idea than unfucking symbel. Yes it won't solve the issue of new players starting later in the world, we'd have to have a solution for that though but good luck with that not turning into a boost for combat alts, honestly I have no idea how to distinguish from a new player and a new alt. Best I can see can be done is apply a buff to a new account in that world and only if verified and subscribed for a long period, it will still be abused but at least JLo will make some money out of it.

again to shill for wurm when you lost skills there from death you got a x3 until you reached the skill again. was pretty good.

Aren't stat caps desirable? I mean, I don't think they are, but I've heard it claimed.

What changes would you like to see? Should eating be unlimited?

The fundamental reason why I'd like to see some sort of limitations on eating are...

  • I don't think it's healthy if you feel that you have to grind all the time, and that time not spent grinding is time lost. This was at times a very real problem in Salem, and arguably it's a problem with quests here as they currently stand.
  • I'd like to encourage/enforce some level of variance in the diet, so that it's not merely about spamming one type of thing.

If the satiation system is an effective soft cap on leveling titans real fast, I am all for it. The game should be about base building, crafting, cooperation and to a lesser degree chugging as much Food as possible.

Tempted to agree, but there also needs to be sinks for resources so that there's motivation to build and rebuild bases and infrastructure.

The Resource sinks could be the Death of the players through PvP or PvE.

Maybe we can make this satiation/hunger effects on how much stat you already get ?


like if you got 10 FEP max, you got x1 satiation
and you hunger bonus is 300%

then, when you hit 90 FEP, you got x3 satiations from food,
and you hunger is 150% bonus

so more you achive - harder it gets

or make some softcaps on every 100 attributes, like <100 gives you 100%, 100-200 fep is slower, and so on

as it stands im pretty sure if in 3 months i die im just straight up quitting before i spend an identical amount of time rebuilding my character even though by all means it should be faster, but im gated by arbitray time locks.
