From these two comments, one could argue that people get too many XP... but then I'm sure 70%+ of that is from poorly balanced quest rewards. When XP was first introduced, it took me a month to get 30k. I hit that mark at a week from quests.

Completely off topic, but not really? If you can't spam Contemplation as much due to less XP, then the suggestion is definitely one to look into implementing. As it is, it'd be a nice buff to it, but not completely necessary.

So the problem is you want to be able to get the full 50% of total time regardless of current time, without allowing 2-use instant study, but still allow using it multiple times?

Why not just make it so it always do 50% total LP regardless of time, but still remembers how many times it's been used.

IE: You have a curio that takes 24 hours to study. You've been studying it for 4. You use C&M. It reduces it by 12 hours (Half of total time.) down to 8 hours. Use it again, and it reduces it by 6 hours (25% of total time.) down to 2.

Literally just make it the same as how it works right now at 0 time elapsed, but not affected by current time left at all, and rather just total time.
