Burn soil stockpiles

that could be an option as well but alass my island is nearly 100% flat and i lack wheelbarrows to mass import soil via knarr.

Thanks OP you not asking to burn smelters with dirt.
About your thread - IIRC oxygen in the soil is bounded to minerals so hard, so you will faster smelt aluminum from sodalite rather than split this oxides.

I think dirt does not burn well. I am not sure why you will want to burn this valuable dirt to begin with.

Make a pen with stickfence, or whatever fence you prefer, put ALL of your soil stockpiles into it- Now, you need 2 people for this. One of you goes into the fence on a horse, and the other one keeps pushing you off the horse until it starts to run away. Don't forget to close the gate beforehand! Now watch as the horse smashes all the stockpiles as it tries to flee.

But personally i like to save all soil off to the side somewhere, last Village expansion needed 6k soil to be raised to the same level.
