I have no idea, honestly they've heard so many suggestions about hunger/sats lately I'm not sure they really want to read another one.

this will still be alt-friendly system

the one moment, that is in WoW -> you are not get free XP there, you must then go and kill mobs to get this bonus XP that you accumulate while offline.

so here we can use it like current EXP system -> you need to do random actions or something...
if it will be just - wait 3 days, log in and stuff food - what is difference from current system ?

Playing during those three days gives you more FEPs and everyone can still stuff food once every three days instead of only characters specially tuned for it. Alts will fall behind actively played characters, casual players will get some help stat wise.

Also, quite honestly, the aim of modifying this system is to make it feel better as a player while trying to line up with the devs intentions (as I interpret them I guess).

My initial thought about this is that I really disliked that system in WoW, and I dislike any system that rewards you for not playing the game. (My loathing of bots, in part, stems from this, but that's another issue).

However, I see the need for this, and the benefit. As it sits I love the system we have, but I also can see all its ugly warts. I particularly like satiations and thought that drinks as a way to alleviate them was clever. What it lacked was proper governance to make it as unexploitable as possible. I think we've kinda reached that point, (I even think we may be a bit TOO draconian about it... But better that than too lenient).

I'd say it's worth a shot to flip Hunger upside down, as much as it galls me.

Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

I quite like the satiation system too, which is why this is supposed to pair with them rather than replace them. It's all about fine tuning it, I agree that right now the system generates more frustration than it should. I will say that I've been actively hunting recipe books for new sources of stat gains at the very least, so they're working even if it feels like getting beaten down that path rather than encouraged.
