Cone gruel, seedcrisp, planting grass, fodder, etc. I've wanted this a while, having to store only a few thousand seeds in 10 different barrels is annoying, let us store them in one. I know there's alternatives, but this would just be way easier.

Is adding shit to barrels a theft/rummaging perm? Either way can’t wait to add a single q10 pipeweed seed to the barrels of whoever I’m raiding to completely obliterate their farm, all because having a few random seeds is just too hard to manage.

You could already easily empty the barrel so I don't see your point here.

Oh yeah, fair enough. I guess storage space is a decent pro to such a change I’m just not keen on the idea of transforming a useful component into a quantifiably less useful version for basically no reason

Throughs and barrels do exactly that. Put one q 10 random seed in a barrel containing q 200 wheat seeds and they all turn into q 199 useless garbage. I mean fodder, sorry, fodder.

See? Noob trap solved as it exists already, putting all types of seeds together does generate generic something, q is averaged, all is solved and it has the enormous advantage of already being in the game. Since it is already implemented, implementing it exactly as it is has 0 costs.

Yep, it would be convenient for me to store different seeds (turn into grass seeds) in one barrel.

There is a good reason for it. When you're planting grass, you don't get all those uneven (or even? whatever) seeds
