If for some reason minesweeper does not work, like in first dig into cave walls, keep your miner full of stamina, on 4th speed, keep mouse far along the cave and in click-to-move mode. As soon as you hear cracking, click mouse. Some times you run for nothing, some times you do dodge a cave-in. If you are a fast clicker, all cave-ins can be dodged as long as you have a direction free of obstruction to run.

Well, if you want to mine in a perfect straight line through any cave-in tile, then you probably not mine for ores, so you can come full of nuggets... Subways are not really the same thing as mining for ores.

Since they made mining supports decay over time, my purpose is to never use them at anything else but as decorations, and only on the surface or in cellars. It is possible, it only needs a bit of skill.

The wood support change is absurd, you're wasting enormous amounts of your time playing the minigame.

What are you talking about? I'm mining ore! I need to dig out every tile of sweet precious iron! Besides, I always hated minesweeper since it was introduced to me in 80s. :D Jorb and Loftar did marvelous job making it appealing even for me, but still if I can avoid wasting time on something I don't like - I will.

And here I should apologize for my spelling... But I won't! Deal with it :P

Why not just fully repurpose the coin pouch into something that can carry small things? Coins, nuggets, keys, seeds.

So you can't extend your inventory space unreasonably.
Same reason why you cant carry around belts filled with water in inventory anymore.

As suspected. :D

That's actually half a day amount of ore to process if you are into it.

Make it so that filled pouches can't be carried in inventory either, only in belts.

As a side note, with my initial reaction being the same I actually grew up to liking some aspects of it with time. Mining now is an actual operation with proper logistics of supplies into the mine, not just out of it. I am pretty sure it will get old sooner or later, but it's a month into the new world already and I am still enjoying it.

And having a smaller alternative to a wheelbarrow of nuggets would be nice I think. Especially considering precious metals and how nuggets of those could be used for trading it makes sense to let them into pouches.

It could hold gems as well, would be nice instead of having super tiny objects drop to the ground when inventory is full. :D

Why not just put a chest near your excavation area to store what you can't stockpile and equip your tsacks to grab what's in there before returning home?

You do know in some clients and default client not all stones etc. are dropping to the ground from inventory right, nor does silver/gold but that’s by choice in my case, it has nothing to do with being unable to store it where I am. It’s a tiny fucking rock that disappears underneath all the piles of stones and stuff on the ground if it doesn’t end up in your inventory.
