Shovel should be selected from toolbelt when destroy stumps

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

Why do we 'destroy' stumps though? They give a resource in return for removing them, just like boulders, which have the 'chip stone' flower option. They aren't built structures, the best tool to remove them is a shovel, not a pick or sledgehammer (as potjeh pointed out).

The few friends I've actually convinced to play this game always get stumped by stumps. Their intuitive answer is to right click them just like trees, after that they try to use the 'dig' adventure action to remove stumps, and finally they ask me and i tell them 'use the destroy action, but make sure to use a shovel too'
Have a question? Need help? Tired of people asking questions? Haven and Hearth Wiki.

Yes, most new player I show game to will assume it is right click option, since this is how you interact with tree. Though, boulder at least is not ''destroyed'' all in one go like stump is.

yeah idk why stumps need an adventure action and not a flower menu action. it's really feels like an arbitrary decision

This way it is consistent with how you will destroy all other objects in the game.

yeah, I think that was the original thing. No reason both can't be usable. if you dont' have a shovel, then the usually "destroy" action can be used.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
