I feel like this is a bit of a misnomer that comes up a lot here. If there were a significant advantage to doubling the size of our fields, we wouldn't be pleading for an easier way to harvest crops, we'd just run a second robot with the same script as the first. Heck, most of the farming bots I use don't even use scythes because speed is such a non-issue, whereas when I occasionally manually farm something not having a scythe would make me want to die.
In general, there seems to be a line of reasoning: something is botted a lot > make it harder, or more tedious > haha this will slow down the robots
When in reality, it's more like: something is botted a lot > it becomes more tedious to do manually > bot is updated > people without the bot are even worse off comparatively. Cheese rackQ being the best example, I think.
Not that this is an argument in favor, or against the OP, I just notice this thinking applied a lot and it seems misguided
